MORE COAL COUNTRY

Photographed at the Pioneer Coal Mine, Ashland PA Long ago, this is what lifted the tons of Coal from deep inside a Mine. This is the Power Machinery that lifted the tons of Coal. Roads that lead nowhere, but into the brush. Had the chance to Tour this Coal Processing Plant with 10 other people.

While crusin’ the Internet, I happen to come across this Image of my ole’ Destroyer, the USS Carpenter DD-825, that was taken in San Francisco Bay.  I was not aboard her at this time.  Was long gone.  Here she looks pretty good, because I’ve enhanced the Image a bit. In Her later years, she was

OLD PORT CLINTON AVE.

This is a very old Image of Port Clinton Ave. that was taken sometime in the early 1900’s.  It shows the old Union Canal while it was still in operation.  Most of this is all gone to History, but there is still some of it that remains today. I have taken the time to “outline”

FISHING BOAT IN B&W

Doing more practice with my Lens Ball.  I seem to like this version in B&W even though it should be turned right side up.  Using my PSPX8 program I can easily turn it to show the small fishing boat behind the Lens Ball.  However, by doing that, it can sometimes cause problems.  I’m always trying

I KEEP TRYING!

I had stated in my last Post that I was having allot of trouble with doing IR.  I did inquire about having one of my camera’s converted over to a 720nm filter from 2 different places.  The one that is closest to me does not do this service any longer, which I was not happy

B&W at the State Park

I was still having trouble with converting Infrared Images, so I thought that I’d give Infrared in B&W.  This seems to work pretty good, although it’s not what I’m striving for.  Hope you like it. Thank You.

This above Image is of the ole Steam Engine #113.  Located in the Coal Mining Town of Minersville, PA she was once used to haul Coal & passengers from towns above and below Minersville.  I don’t think that the old steam train is used anymore.  Placed here as a static display. Don’t know which view
