There have been a number of times so far that I’ve gone to some Bike Trails that are around my area to ride and check out what’s there and what they look like. This is just one of the many, many bike trails that are around here. This Trail is the Ephrata-Warwick Trail and it follows the old train bed from many years ago. It’s all macadamed and very scenic to ride. It stretches thru the countryside of Amish Country for about 7 miles in one direction. If you ride the other way, it goes thru the town of Lititz that has nice little shops & stores for something to eat or drink.

Here at the Trail Head is a monument to Maj. Dick Winters who commanded the Band of Brothers during WWII. He was from this small town.

Here at the Trail Head is something I’ve never known or seen before. It’s a small shed that has bikes for rent by the hour. What you do is get a code sent to your phone to unlock the bike number. How much does it cost to rent one, I don’t know. I have my own bike.

Thank you for stopping in.

I have not cycled for many years now but that looks to be a nice, flat trail with a good surface and lots of points of interest along the way. I really must get to your area for an explore. I seem to do an awful lot of passing through of that region of PA without stopping.
Yes, Laura, good idea. There are many nice trails out there. It’s something that I never knew until I started riding.
Nice-looking trail. This is a first for me, too, seeing bikes for hire a trail.
