Over the passing years, riding the many, many bicycle trails has become a favorite pastime for many of us that want to get some exercise & enjoy nature at the same time. I’m just one of them. Around my area, and not to mention, in almost every state there are so many bike trails you can ride for free.

Here I’m biking the Brentwood Trail that used to be train tracks that crossed over the Schuylkill River. This trail runs all the way down to Philadelphia and further. I can’t go that far! It was a beautiful sunny warm day to ride. Not hardly a cloud in the sky. However, not but about 6 hrs. later the weather turned awful with rain, wind, and fog. It was surprising that it did that. Glad I could enjoy it when I could.

Here the bike trail cross’s over another one. Which way do you want to go? I went straight.

Some parts of a trail are paved with macadam instead of hard clay & small stone. A very few have some artist painting on them. I think this is a nice job by whoever did this.

Here & there are plaques along the trails that give you some history of what used to be here. They also give the rider more information on where you are and the rules of riding a bike trail. This is a real nice addition along the trail. This one is at the Trail Head in Pottstown, PA. You can see how far the trail extends.

Here I am at the Brentwood Trail Head. For this pic, I had to use a tripod and set the camera on a 12 sec. timer. It didn’t come out right. I have the camera in the wrong place. Should have been on the right/left side. Going to try it again.
Thank you for stopping by.
