More than 2 months ago I came across a Paint By Numbers site and thought I’d take a look to see what they have. I paged thru many of the different paintings that are offered to buy and paint. They sell the Paint By Numbers canvas, all the colors you need, and the brushes that you can use/or use your own. I decided to purchase one of them. Cost is very reasonable for what you get. My painting took a good 15 days to get here.
When I received my canvas with all the different numbers on it and how big it was, I was surprised. I looked it over and thought this is going to take a while to complete. It did. Painting off & on most everyday this took me well over a month to complete. There are 24 different colors on this. Small little places with numbers in them, big places, and not so big are very time consuming. You get a photo of what it should look like when it’s done. I changed some of the colors to what I liked, but it’s pretty darn close. Had to hold my right hand steady to paint in those little spots. My right hand shakes at times for some reason.
I enjoyed doing this. It is said that painting like this calms the nerves. Well, it does but not all together. It can be a bit nerve-wracking!
