Back up to the Coal Region area, I was told about this working Coal Mine located just outside of Mahoney City (pronounced “Mah-Ha-Noy”). It is just one of the very few Coal Mines that are still around after so many years. Here, I did not even try to enter the area because places such as this are very aware of who comes in here. They don’t care for people just walking around. If you don’t have special permission to be here, you will be thrown out for tresspassing!
Just another Image of what my Pentax see’s. Here I had to use my Pentax 80-300mm Lens to get closer.
The Coal Region area is just full of places that used to be used, but now are wasting away back to Nature. This road was for something, but now no longer for anything.
Abandonded and forgotten, this piece of Coal equipment just sit’s here. What purpose it was for, I don’t know.
Rusted tracks that are never used.
Thanks for stopping by.
