Usually by this time of the year, Fall Color here would be much better than what it is now. For some reason, Fall seems to be arriving late this year. Why, I don’t know. There is color, but not as much as years before.
It’s quiet here. Not much to hear. I’ve been thru this area a number of times, and it’s always quiet. The only sounds you hear are the wind thru the trees, and the crunching of leaves under your feet. It’s also muddy, at spots. So much that you have to be careful where you place your feet or you’ll step into mud up to your ankles.
