I had stated in my last Post that I was having allot of trouble with doing IR. I did inquire about having one of my camera’s converted over to a 720nm filter from 2 different places. The one that is closest to me does not do this service any longer, which I was not happy about. Nothing I could do about that. Then I sent a e-mail to Kolorie Vision down in New Jersey and asked them how much it would cost. They can do it, but for a mere $425.00! Don’t think so. Not going to spend that much money on something that will do only 1 thing. So, I back to square 2.
Later on in snooping around, I found that I can use my Lightroom CC program to get pretty close to what I want. Found that you can use the Mask function to change colors around. It takes a bit of playing around to see what works and what doesn’t. The above Image is a show of what it can do. It took me some time to figure it out, since I’m not going to spend more money on this. I seem to like this result.
Here is another Image that I played around with. Hope you like them.
Thank you.
IR images fascinate me. Am enjoying your pics.
Thank you much. I keep working on it.
