For some reason, during the Winter months, this area seems to be void of wildlife. I have never seen any deer here at all. Why? Maybe there is not the right kind of food for them here. I don’t know. You don’t even see any tracks in the snow to show they were here. ThereContinue reading “EMPTY LAND”
Maybe some of you out there are wondering what kind of camera’s I use when I go “out there”? Well, this is one of them. The Nikon Coolpix P600. It looks just like the one you see above. I bought this camera about 1.5 yrs. ago because I did some reading about it and thoughtContinue reading “NIKON P600”
Still waiting for the warmth of Spring to arrive. A walk down this road is one of my favorite places to go during all Seasons. You never know what you’ll see. Off to the left of this Image is the Farm that owns all this land. They have a large open area for growing corn,Continue reading “FARM LAND & SNOW”
This is Granants Church that has been here since the early 1800’s. I have passed by this old Church many times in the past and always thought about Photographing it. I finally did. While down in Philadelphia, PA last year I was just walking around looking for a Image, when I came across this poor fella sound asleep on a cement bench. It looked to me like he’d had it. Just plain wore out, so he grabbed the best thing around to catch a snooze. I know thatContinue reading “ASLEEP”
Back to the Sea from where I came. My job is done. Mother Logger Head Turtle was here to lay her eggs for another generation. She never see’s her offspring. She leaves nothing but her eggs and prints to show she was here.
It was darn cold when I shot this. I about froze! To get this Image I had to walk about a 1/4 mile down a small trail. Then you come to this opening in the pine trees. It was windy! Composed this, took the Image, and walked rather briskly back to a warm car.
I’ve noticed that I seem to get more likes when I post about something in B&W. Seems more people out there like B&W Images than color ones. Then, so be it. I can do that. I have found out for myself that B&W Photography has it’s place on certain shots. Makes them look better, atContinue reading “SIGNAL”
