During the time of Daniel Boone, I’m sure that the Country side did not look like this.  There were probably no roads or fence lines, and probably not as many trees.  This is looking back onto the property from a distance.  Daniel Boone’s Home is in the foreground.

This is just one of the other original Cabins from his time.  Who lived here back then I don’t know.

During the reenactment of the skirmish between the British and our Continental Army, I caught this fella reloading his musket.  Note the authentic powder case.

Our Continental Army for inspection.

I am 73 yrs. young and now retired. I worked in the Machinist Trade for 24 yrs. Served in the US Navy with a Tour of Duty in Vietnam. Being retired I do enjoy playing Golf, Photography with my Nikon and Pentax Camera's, snooping around in Historic and Abandoned places, using my Scroll Saw, Reading, Travel, and what-ever else will interest me at the time. Come with me and see where I go, where I have been, and my Life surviving Retirement.

  1. Nice. You and my brother would get along great. He loves touring historical Civil War places.
